8dBi Desktop Induction Panel Antenna with 20cm pigtail cable and SMA Male connector. This desktop antenna is designed to connect directly to an external antenna via it's SMA Male connector for passive repeater applications. The panel is used as a desktop pad where cellular devices may be placed to receive an enhanced signal from the external antenna. The panel is compact (210x180x52mm including rubber feet) and contains a wide band (690-4000MHz) element. Supports GSM, 3G, 4G and 5G networks. Requires an input antenna and adapter. Applications:
For situations where these is no cellular signal inside a building such as a home or office due to lack of signal penetration through exterior walls or roof, a passive repeater system solution comprising this antenna can be useful. Whilst this solution does not enable mobile use of a phone or modem within the building, it allows just about any cellular device that can be placed on the antenna to receive an enhanced signal via the connected external antenna (NG21YGA-65-S 18dBi yagi antenna is recommended, sold separately) providing there is some signal outside. Mobile phones can receive text messages and emails while they are on the desktop antenna. USB dongle modems connected via a usb cable can placed on the desktop antenna and receive a signal. Other cellular devices can also be used such as 3G/4G enabled credit card machines.
